Первой моделью Saab под управлением компании Spyker станет седан 9-5, который заканчивает прохождение дорожных и климатических испытаний, пройдя в общей сложности уже более 500 000 км по европейским дорогам, все ближе приближаясь к конвейеру.
«В течение развития проекта мы сосредоточились на придании седану уникальных особенностей» — говорится в сообщении.
Команда проекта подбирала наилучшую подвеску, оптимизируя настройку для переднего и заднего мостов, испытывались варианты приводов, пассивные и адаптивные элементы, настраивалась тормозная система, подбирались диски и шины, так же как и варианты двигателей.
Было изготовлено 15 прототипов, которые были отправлены в Швецию, Великобританию, Германию, Бельгию, Францию, Испанию и Италию, где проходили испытания во всех погодных условиях – дождь, снег, зной, день, ночь, сильный встречный и боковой ветер и т.д.
Помимо этого тестирование проводилось на спортивных и гоночных трасах, включая и Nurburgring в Германии и NARDO в Италии.
Предварительные заявки на Saab 9-5 уже принимаются, поставка автомобилей, как ожидается, начнется в течение этого года.
