На пару с крошечным Wind был представлен Megane CC. Автомобиль станет не просто дополнением к линейке Megane, но и послужит полигоном для испытания новых технических достижений Renault.
Причем одно из таких достижений сразу бросается в глаза. Кабриолет Megane оснащается стеклянной складной крышей, которая складывается за 21 секунду. Увы, сложенная крыша съедает немало свободного пространства в багажнике, объем которого в этом случае падает с 417 до 211 литров.
Кроме того, Megane CC станет первым автомобилем Renault, который получит новую 6-скоростную трансмиссию с двойным сцеплением. Она будет предлагаться для версий с дизельным мотором dCi 110 DPF и бензиновым 2,0-литровым 140-сильным агрегатом. Остальные версии будут оснащаться 6-скоростной механикой.
Помимо двух вышеназванных двигателей для Megane CC будет предложено еще два дизельных мотора мощностью 130 и 160 лошадиных сил и два бензиновых мощностью 130 и 110 лошадиных сил.
