Правительство России поручило компании «Российские железные дороги» (РЖД) обеспечить в 2010 году перевозку без взимания провозной платы новых автомобилей, произведенных на территории Дальневосточного федерального округа, на железнодорожные станции на территориях других федеральных округов. Предоставление субсидий РЖД на возмещение потерь в доходах в связи с обеспечением перевозок в соответствии с данным постановлением осуществляется за счет бюджетных ассигнований в размере до 500 млн рублей, предусмотренных федеральным законом «О федеральном бюджете на 2010 год и на плановый период 2011 и 2012 годов» на реализацию дополнительных мер по поддержке отраслей экономики РФ, рынка труда и отраслей социальной сферы.
Критерием отнесения автомобилей к категории «новые», на которые распространяется действие постановления, является отсутствие в паспортах транспортных средств и /или/ в дубликатах записи о выдаче государственного регистрационного знака. При оформлении перевозки к перевозочным документам прикладывается копия паспорта транспортного средства, заверенная грузоотправителем. Ограничения по наименованию грузоотправителя и грузополучателя не устанавливаются.
