Танкист вооруженных сил Южной Кореи, заснувший за рулем, стал причиной серьезного ДТП. Как передает Ananova, инцидент произошел в одном из городов вблизи границы с Северной Кореей. Танковая колонна возвращалась с ночных учений, когда внезапно один из танков набрал скорость и съехал с проезжей части. Бронированная махина начала плющить припаркованные у обочины автомобили один за другим: в металлолом превратились две легковушки и четыре микроавтобуса.
Лишь по счастливой случайности инцидент обошелся без жертв. Один из водителей находился в момент аварии внутри автомобиля и спасся, вжавшись в руль, в то время как танк крушил заднюю часть машины. Сам 32-летний танкист проснулся лишь в тот момент, когда бронемашина врезалась в витрину магазина. С травмами головы и груди он был госпитализирован.
