На открывающемся 2 марта автосалоне в Женеве компания Honda представит трехколесный одноместный концепт-кар, получивший название 3R-C и предназначенный для передвижения по городу. Разработкой этого «персонального транспортного средства» занималась европейская дизайн-студия Honda, расположенная в Милане.
Трехколесный автомобиль-мотоцикл приводится в движение электромотором, питающимся от комплекта литий-ионных батарей, расположенных в полу 3R-C — благодаря такой схеме размещения, у транспортного средства сохраняется низкий центр тяжести, обеспечивающий стабильность при движении.
От непогоды водитель 3R-C защищает только гибкий «тент» — никакой крыши у этого транспортного средства нет. Стеклянный колпак, изображенный на фотографиях, закрывает салон трехколесной машины только на стоянке, при движении превращаясь в невысокое ветровое стекло.
Никаких подробностей о возможности серийного производства аналогичной модели пока нет. Ранее похожие «персональные транспортные средства» показывали компании Nissan, BMW и Toyota.
