Экологический сертификат соответствия выдало британское агентство VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency), которое провело исследования, по влиянию нового флагманского седана Jaguar XJ на окружающую среду.
По итогам проведенной работы, особенно отмечены усилия компании, направленные на снижение выброса в атмосферу отработанных газов, а также использование в конструкции кузова и прочих элементов, деталей изготовленных из вторичного сырья, также пригодных для повторной переработки.
«Сертификат VCA — важная веха в миссии компании Jaguar по сохранению окружающей среды» — говорится в сообщении компании. «Детализированный отчет агентства дает нам возможность понять, в каком направлении работать дальше и где искать пути снижения».
Исследования также проводились в условиях типичной дорожной обстановки, в результате чего «подопытный» автомобиль прошел около 200 000 км.
