На автосалоне во Франкфурте, который откроется на следующей неделе, индийский производитель электрокаров REVA представит две новые модели. Как сообщается в пресс-релизе компании, презентация новинок состоится в среду 16 сентября.
Первой новинкой REVA станет четырехместный трехдверный хэтчбек под названием NXR. Сделать предзаказ на автомобиль можно будет прямо на автосалоне, а готовые машины покупатели получат после старта производства новинки, которое запланировано на начало 2010 года.
Вторая модель представляет собой двухместный электрический спорткар под названием NXG с кузовом типа «тарга». Выпуск такого автомобиля планируется наладить в 2011 году.
Там же, во Франкфурте, компания REVA представит технологию беспроводной зарядки батарей автомобилей для тех владельцев, которые боятся внезапного окончания заряда аккумуляторов. Суть технологии пока не раскрывается, однако в пресс-релизе поясняется, что для того, чтобы подзарядить батареи, достаточно будет лишь позвонить или написать смс-сообщение в специальную службу.
В настоящее время REVA уже выпускает три модели электромобилей — Standard, A/C и Classe. К сентябрю 2009 года компания продала по всему миру около 3000 машин. Для производства новых моделей в индийском городе Бангалор ведется строительство завода REVA, мощность которого составит 30 тысяч автомобилей в год.
