Новый «винт» может работать в диапазоне высот от -300 до 5600 метров над уровнем моря, а также при температуре от -30 до +85 градусов по Цельсию.
В отличие от твердотельных накопителей (SSD) новый жесткий диск имеет большую вместимость при меньшей стоимости, а также обладает повышенной скоростью считывания и записи данных.
Поставки нового устройства начнутся в третьем квартале 2010 года.
