Немецкое тюнинг-ателье Brabus, специализирующееся на доводке автомобилей марки Mercedes-Benz, объявило о том, что мировая премьера нового SV12 R состоится на Франкфуртском автосалоне. Эта машина построена на базе фейслифтинговой версии Mercedes-Benz S 600 и оснащена 12-цилиндровым двигателем объемом 6,3 л с двумя турбинами. В Brabus седан получил усовершенствованную систему охлаждения мотора, новый электронный блок управления двигателем и выхлопную систему из нержавейки.
Мощность агрегата составляет 750 л.с., что на 20 л.с. больше, чем у SV12 S, а крутящий момент – 1100 Нм. Разгон 0-100 км/ч занимает у Brabus SV12 R всего 4 сек., а ускорение 0-200 км/ч – 11,9 сек. Максимальная скорость машины ограничена отметкой 340 км/ч. Автомобиль также оснастили 12-поршневыми передними суппортами и шестипоршневыми задними. Цена на «самый быстрый и мощный офис на колесах», как автомобиль окрестили создатели, пока не сообщается.
