На рынке пикапов появился новый претендент, под именем Peugeot Hoggar. Сравнительно небольшой пикап пока появился только в Бразилии, основан он на базе хэтчбэка 207, который практически не имеет ничего общего с европейским 207, так как бразильский вариант представляет собой модель, основанную на предыдущем поколении Peugeot 206.
По словам французского автомобилестроителя у Hoggar, который заимствовал имя у одного из концептов, грузоподъемность составляет 742 кг, при общей вместимости 1 151 литр.
Конкурентами Peugeot Hoggar можно назвать Fiat Strada и Chevrolet Montana, который появится в Бразилии в мае этого года, с двумя новыми четырехцилиндровыми двигателями, объемом 1.4 и 1.6 литра.
