Минтранс намерен сделать транспорт более безопасным
Министр транспорта и связи Украины Константин Ефименко обеспокоен проблемой безопасности на транспорте. В связи с этим он поручил соответствующим руководителям подразделений центрального аппарата и подотраслей принять меры по повышению безопасности на транспорте
Вместе с отработкой необходимых для этого нормативно-правовых актов он обязал внедрить более жесткие механизмы контроля над перевозчиками. «Мы должны усилить ответственность за безопасность на транспорте всех, кто причастен к перевозке пассажиров и грузов. Все меры должны быть направлены на уменьшение количества аварий», — сказал он, по информации «УНИАН».
По информации директора Департамента безопасности на транспорте Юрия Гержода, в период с 15 по 22 марта 2010 года на предприятиях, которые находятся в сфере управления или под надзором Минтранса, произошло 26 аварийных событий. С целью повышения уровня безопасности в отрасли, в частности при осуществлении пассажирских перевозок автомобильным транспортом, специалисты Минтранса разработали ряд дополнительных мероприятий, среди которых применение ремней безопасности в автобусах, перевозящих пассажиров, ограничение скорости автобусов и грузовых автомобилей техническими средствами, внедрение тахографов на внутренних перевозках и тому подобное. «Мы должны работать эффективно, на предупреждение, ведь много аварий является резонансными и касаются жизни людей», — акцентировал внимание министр.
Также министр подчеркнул необходимость оперативного и объективного информирования общественности относительно ситуаций в дорожно-транспортном комплексе и усилении сотрудничества с представителями МЧС и МВД с целью своевременного реагирования на аварийные ситуации.
