На испытания вышел опытный образец хэтчбэка Chevrolet Aveo 2012, который ранее был замечен в черном камуфляже, но в связи с приходом весны поменявший его на более светлый, в результате чего стали видны новые особенности следующего поколения Aveo.
Прототип по-прежнему пытается сохранить таинственность новых технологий, но ранее, возможно и случайно, в сеть попали официальные фотографии следующего поколения Chevrolet Aveo, который дают о модели практически полное представление, что теперь подтверждается и по-новому закамуфлированным прототипом. Хэтчбэк будет выглядеть очень колоритно, примерно также как в свое время концепт Aveo RS, и получит интерьер наподобие Chevrolet Cruze.
Chevrolet Aveo размещается между Cruze и Spark, и конкурирует с подобными VW Polo, Mazda2 и Toyota Yaris.
Серийное производство Chevrolet Aveo 2012 должно быть запущено в начале 2011 года, и в итоге предлагаться в двух вариантах кузова – седан и хэтчбэк.
